About the Association

The Islamic Charitable Association for the Care of Older Persons and Social Solidarity (ABIPASS) was founded on 4 February 2026 as a charitable organisation, on the initiative of professionals specialising in medicine, engineering, law, higher education and business. Its headquarters are located in the town of Sidi Allal El Bahraoui.

On 7 April 2026, the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity entrusted the Association with the management of the Social Centre for Older Persons in Sidi Allal El Bahraoui, under an agreement concluded between the two parties.

General Objectives

Accommodation and care

To provide the conditions necessary for the accommodation and care of older persons.

Social and health services

To provide social, material, moral, educational and health services that respond directly to the diverse needs of disadvantaged groups.

Solidarity and volunteering

To promote solidarity and development-oriented volunteering, and to combat begging among older persons.

Cooperation and partnership

To cooperate with institutions, bodies and associations pursuing similar objectives at the local, provincial, regional, national and international levels.

Income-generating projects

To undertake income-generating activities and projects for the benefit of social institutions.

Development of health services

To contribute to the development of the health sector in Sidi Allal El Bahraoui by organising medical caravans, addressing shortages of human resources and acquiring medical equipment, within the framework of a partnership agreement with the Health Delegation, the Municipal Council, the Provincial Council, the Province and other relevant institutions.

The Centre is located in the town of Sidi Allal El Bahraoui, in a quiet area free from sources of disturbance, thereby ensuring a comfortable and tranquil environment for its older residents.
